Around the World 8/8/94 to 5/3/95
My around-the-world sabbatical took me to Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Tailand, Nepal, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, France, and England. Here is a summary of the trip.

1 - One of the most beautiful places I saw on the trip, near the airport in Bali
2 - The sabbatical began with some consulting for Westinghouse. I rented a room in this house in Baltimore for 40 nights
3 - I worked out of this Westinghouse office building near BWI
4 - My first international stop was Tahiti. It sucked, so I moved here, Moorea, a beautiful Island a ferry boat ride away.
5 - Next stop, the Cook Islands, here is a parade
6 - Volcano shaft at the center of Rarotunga, the main Cook Island
7 - Fiji was next. I did a day sail on this boat.
8 - Diving in Fiji. The water was much cleared in the Cook Islands.
9 - Toured New Zealand for three months. This is a view from my Auckland room, 35 days here.
10 - University lab that offered me some space to do some consulting
